Additional Info

Aircraft and Instructor Rates

  • Aircraft and instructor time are billed based on Hobbs meter readings. Rates may be quoted as “wet” (including fuel and oil) or “dry” (aircraft only; fuel and oil not included).

Aircraft Rates

  • Aircraft rates can be billed at hourly rates or or block times.

    • Hourly Rates are:

      • $165/hour wet

      • $110/hour dry

  • Block rates are a discounted hourly rate received by pre-paying for a block of hours in advance, rather than paying for each flight “hourly” after the flight is completed.

    • 30 block rate hours:

      • $155/hour WET – Deposit of $4,650

      • $95/hour DRY – Deposit $2,850

    • 50 block rate hours:

      • $145/hour WET – Deposit of $7,250

      • $85/hour DRY – Deposit $4,250

CFI Rates

  • CFI instructors operate independently, so pricing may vary by instructor.

Additional

  • All aircraft/instructor scheduling and aircraft billing handled through Flight Circle and flexible payment methods.

  • CFIs are paid separately.

  • Students who are looking to use the club to do their flight training are encouraged to do the block rates for the aircraft to save more money on their flight training cost.

  • Rental insurance is not required until solo flights, but we recommend AOPA Aircraft Rental Insurance.

  • CFI’s looking to use the club's aircraft for their own students.

Rental Checkout

All solo renters, time builders, and instructors are required to complete a rental checkout.

Instructor Rental Checkout includes:

  • Landings: Short field, soft field, power-off 180, and go-arounds

  • Maneuvers: Power-off stalls and clean slow flight

All maneuvers must meet ACS standards. As this is a CFI checkout, instructors must also demonstrate the ability to effectively teach each maneuver.

Checkout Fee: Aircraft hourly rate (based on your selection) + $50 flat CFI fee

CFIs must carry renter’s or CFI insurance
